Kylian Mbappé needed just 14 minutes to get France moving, curling a left-footed finish into the bottom corner off a Michael Olise assist. The match was held up deep into first-half stoppage time — France still 1-0 up when play paused — but nothing changed when it restarted. Mbappé doubled the lead in the 54th, turning home a low ball from Ousmane Dembélé, who returned the favor 12 minutes later, finishing off an Olise through ball to make it 3-0. Iraq's Amir Al-Ammari picked up an early yellow and never really got a foothold after that. Comfortable, professional, job done for Les Bleus.
