Haaland did what Haaland does. He opened the scoring in the 29th, finishing a David Møller Wolfe cross from close range, and Iraq had no real answer to him all night. They did pull level though — Aymen Hussein headed home an Amir Al Ammari cross in the 39th to make it 1-1 going into the final stretch of the first half. It didn't last. Right before the break, Haaland's first shot was saved by Jalal Hassan, but the rebound bounced back to him and he buried it from point-blank range. 1-2 at the half, and Norway never looked back. Leo Østigård made it three in the 76th, heading in a Martin Ødegaard corner. Hassan kept the scoreline respectable with a string of saves, denying Haaland again in the 83rd, but Iraq's night turned to misery in stoppage time when Hussein turned a cross into his own net for a 1-4 final. Tough result for the hosts in Boston — Norway look like one of the sharper sides in the group.
