Senegal needed a big win to keep their best-thirds hopes alive. Iraq made it easy. Habib Diarra struck in the 4th — close-range finish from a Seck corner — and Iraq were already behind when Sulaka saw red at 13', leaving them with 77 minutes playing 10 men. The Lions of Teranga didn't waste the advantage. The second half was clinical: Ismaïla Sarr scrambled in from close range at 56 (Lamine Camara with the pass), Pape Gueye ripped one in from outside the box at 59 (Sarr assisting), then Gueye struck again at 71 after Ndiaye's headed pass slipped him through. Ndiaye got his own goal at 82 — right-footed shot to the top corner from range — to cap a 5-0 rout. Senegal end Group I in third with 3 points and a goal difference of +2. Iraq finish bottom, 0 points, -11 goal difference.
