Netherlands were ruthless from the first whistle. Skhiri turned a Dutch cross into his own net in the 3rd minute, and Brobbey doubled it four minutes later with a clinical volley — 2-0 after seven minutes in Kansas City. Tunisia came out sharper after the break and pulled one back in the 54th, Mastouri getting his head on a cross for a genuine consolation. But Van Hecke answered immediately with a header of his own in the 62nd to kill any lingering hope. From there it was an extended substitution parade: Netherlands rotated through Koopmeiners, Kluivert, and Summerville in the 72nd, Depay in the 77th, Noa Lang in the 84th. Tunisia made four changes from the 67th onward. No cards for either side. Netherlands had 71.4% possession and 20 shots to Tunisia's 10. They finish top of Group F. Tunisia end the tournament with zero points and a −10 goal difference.
