Norway went in front at 36' — Schjelderup latching onto a through ball and finishing low past Pickford. England labored. Sørloth hit a blocked shot at 44' as Norway pressed for a second. Then Bellingham, in first-half stoppage time, turned home inside six yards to level it right before the break.

1-1 at half. 1-1 at full time too. Both sides had chances late — Pickford punching a cross clear at 90', England probing through Saka — but neither could find a winner.

Into extra time and England looked the fresher side. Bellingham settled it at 93', cutting inside and placing it low into the corner. Norway pushed hard but Guéhi and Burn held firm. England are in the semifinals.
