Belgium scored inside 10 minutes — De Ketelaere finishing close range off a Raskin assist. Tillman equalized at 31' with a deflected free kick to the top of the goal, but De Ketelaere headed Belgium back in front at 33' off a Trossard cross. USA went into half-time 1-2 down with 56% possession but just 2 shots on target.
The second half went Belgium's way. Vanaken made it 3-1 at 57' when Turner spilled a De Ketelaere cross and Vanaken tapped in the loose ball. Pulisic came off with an injury at 59'. Lukaku came on at 67' and added the fourth in stoppage time, finishing off a Vanaken assist from the left side of the box. Belgium had 15 shots and 7 on goal; USA managed 7 shots with 2 on target.
