Folarin Balogun had the wildest 90 minutes of any player at this tournament. He put the USA up with a composed left-footed finish from the centre of the box right at halftime — then received a straight red card 19 minutes into the second half, leaving his teammates to grind out the rest of the game with ten men. They did more than grind. Malik Tillman stepped up and curled a free kick into the top-left corner at 82' to double the lead and kill the game. Bosnia barely threatened all night. USA 2-0, into the Round of 16.
